Carolina Cafe and Catering Co. was founded in 1998. Also proudly known as “The Bagel Shop” for our in house made NY style bagels.

Other menu items include house made salads, soups, baked goods, sandwiches and specialty coffee drinks. Locally owned and operated for 22 years. Always fresh.

Back Story

It really started in 1979, when a woman, who could make one heck of a potato salad, met a man, who could boil a pot of water even while watching it.....want to know more? Come see us and we'll be happy to share!

Heart of South Carolina

Located under the Cornell Arms building (the red brick building in the pics) across the street within walking distance from The South Carolina State House grounds and offices. Carolina Cafe has been serving Legislators, Congress, Government officials, State House employees and guests for 28 years.

We are located steps away from the University of South Carolina historic Horseshoe. A beautiful and popular student campus gathering place for a picnic lunch, studying, hanging out, and enjoying the outdoors. Also home of the University's Visitor Center
